When I got back from university I had a lot of books that I knew I would never read again and a few that I never wanted to see again. So, I decided to separate them into two piles. One pile was for books I had no interest in so I gave some of those away and put the rest onto readitswapit.co.uk. The other pile is books that I didn't get around to reading, but I would definitely like to. This is that pile:
On the Road by Jack Kerouac
White Teeth by Zadie Smith
Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh
Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy
The Road by Cormac McCarthy
Mary Barton by Elizabeth Gaskell
Don Quixote by Cervantes
By the Sea by Abdulrazak Gurnah
So in 2014 I hope to read at least four of these which should leave a similar amount for the following year. I'm disappointed that I didn't get through these at university when I should have, but I'm glad that I'm taking the opportunity now.
